During our last golf outing to Cameron Highlands, the members of Sikit2 Untong were fortunate to have the rare privilege of being invited for tea western style and tour guide of one of the most beautiful and fantastic sited home in Cameron. The proud owner of the self designed fabulous bungalow is no other than an ex military officer and a retired General Manager of Boh Tea Estate, Brinchang, Cameron Highlands - Captain Zainal Thambi.
After a short fling in the Malaysian Royal Armoured Corps, he left the service, avoided the concrete jungle and still remained in the green fields. Yes, being an ex military officer, he picked the hills - commanding feeling I supposed - and joined the hilly tea plantations in Cameron Highlands. Since then he had been a very proud man of the Cameron and time and again he had appeared in the media being interviewed on the secret of none other but hasiat minum teh - oh blimey!
At the end of June this year, we had apparently given Capt Zainal - who is also our honorary member - an early warning order that the members of Sikit2 Untong will be in Cameron Highlands again and we certainly look forward for his warm company and never run dry of jokes-blimey!
