...new competition date.....

......after a rather challenging week gone by, with lots of sad occasions shadowed over most of us, the above strong at heart and souls, turned up for another round of golf. Noticeably, we tried to be cheerful as far as possible, though at times it seemed hard to come by...especially after losing a member of KRAT..... TC Lim...a true gentlemen in many ways, and with Mike Mustafa losing his beloved wife......then Richard Rajan losing his right leg.......we merely could pay our sincere respect and pray to God for theirs and ours, betterment for our path ahead.

Nonetheless, it has been decided during the morning brunch, to have our S2U Golf Tournament to be fixed on Thursday, 12May 2011. After a long period of going through difficulties in tying up the perfect date to suit everyone for a golf tournament, it is hope this time round most of us could make themselves available for this challenging outing. Do please come back with better ideas if any...even if to decide to have at another venue...with buggies?......18 holes?

.....returned to the arms of God Almighty...

.....just past midnite, my mobile suddenly played It's Hard To Say I'm Sorry tune.....Mike Mustafa on line.....he muttered....." she's gone...."......I managed to utter....innalillah......yes, Mike just lost his wife after a long battle that cannot be won ......only decided by God Almighty.....may she rest in peace and may Mike rise to the occasion.....be strong bro....stride into the future with peace of mind .....insyAllah

.....BREAKING NEWS......

.....Mike Mustafa called me, wife Pn Hasnah condition worsen.....still in same hospital...lets us all pray for her .....may the Mighty God be with her in her time of need and ever more...insyAllah...amiin.

.....another sad news....

....on informing through SMS to all S2U members and closed KRAT friends of the sudden faith fallen onto Richard Rajan, suddenly I received a sobbing call from Guat, charming wife of TC Lim, that TC is critically ill and admitted into UH KL.....tears short of blurring my eyes.....only about a week ago I played in the same flight with TC.....is that our last game together?.......yes, life is tough ......only God knows what lies ahead ......we pray for his quick recovery and do look forward to see TC Lim swinging again....he is simply a wonderful player to watch and a real gentleman to know, be it on the golf course, club house or anywhere you tend to bump into him........God bless....

.....just another weekend?....not for me....!

......got a call from Charlie that Richard Rajan, former member of S2U, was seriously injured and admitted to GH KL ward 5, 2nd flr, after been knocked down from his motor bike. Charlie and I visited him this afternoon and found his family members there alongside his charming daughter. The unexpected news from Richard...he is losing his right leg tomorrow.....amputation.....oh my God...there goes his world of golf...the only world that he knows best....suddenly goes down the drain..........I just lost of words, merely painfully swallowed them down....gosh, .........no, certainly it is not the end for Richard but its just a sudden change been forced onto him and family.....oh God, do guide him when he needed You most.........

....Pn Hasnah Othman admitted....

......this morning, I was informed that Mike Mustafa's better half, Pn Hasnah Othman, is admitted into Ampang General Hospital. S2U members were immediately informed through SMS by Andy. On confirming with Mike, Andy rushed over to the hospital during lunch hour. Mike was there, apparently he's on duty during the day and need to leave at dusk as it is a female ward.

From S2U, We wish and pray Pn Hasnah for a speedy road to recovery, insyAllah......amiin.

....the second day, another round of golfing.....what a day too, we managed to rope in a stranded Japanese golfer into our flight....and my, what a player he was! Unfortunately, I forgotten his name...some thing sort of Ichi Bawa or something...sorry! He was among the rest of the Japanese group that spend 3 months of golfing in Cameron. Yes, the majority of them apparently were ladies and by the way they played, they were good too....I mean play golf!

...the new club house

....a year gone by, the new club house was officially declared opened by His Majesty DYMM Sultan Pahang. It is a superb club house, majestically standing over looking almost the entire golf course. The only short fall, to me, is the lack of tuft mate or buggies. I'm comparing it with other hill resorts such those found in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, etc. These golf courses certainly have buggies. The tourist in particular are older people. They come to taste the cool atmosphere and to rest and certainly also to enjoy the facilities and at the same time not to torture or tire themselves. So, the Cameron Highlands Golf Resort management certainly needs to have a closer look at all these as to take up the upper most in their marketing strategy as to ensure more tourist are been lured to this wonderful hill resort.

.....after a hard days slogging the fairways, it was time for a nice lovely dinner up high the highest part of Cameron....Brinchang. Jimmy sure enough took all of us by surprise. He brought along marvelous imported smoked salmon....no, not from pasar borong or Chow Kit but all the way from Canada mate....the taste was simply mama mia...what more to be washed down with red wine complement from Andy (he lost the bloody bet with Jimmy guys!). It was a night to remember with promises of more salmon to come from Canada....not Japan huh!...nuclear mah!

......wow, KC all alone.....this the problem having four in a flight...if only played at Selesa, even 7 in a flight no problem.....blimey!.....so, KC volunteered to be the look-out for our stray balls!

.....it's Cameron Highlands again....

.....yes, S2U was back in Cameron Highlands for another 3 days 2 nights of golfing and dining. Though the strength this time was rather small as normally warrant, the hard rugged members of S2U comprising of Steve, Charlie and Andy alongside KC and Jimmy made it to the mountains resort to enjoy not only the cool fresh air but also the freshly cooked of highlands vegy. As the norm we bunked down at the cozy Heritage with KC putting up at the Cameron BB Inn with Jimmy for company.

The weather according to the Heritage staff, was dry through-out until the day we arrived that particular afternoon....we brought the rain! But the very next day, the sun was with us and we certainly had a good undisturbed outings.

.....silence is golden?......big deal.....

......hey, what's up Andy?....many moons no news! Yeah, they do say silence is golden but it's been too quiet....what's happening?...well, guys. its simply my beloved computer was attacked by a highly sophisticated virus...more sophisticated than those used by NATO in Libya I suppose! My close family members came to the rescue but it certainly took lots of time to get rid of it...anyway, I'm back guys.....so, bare with me for some old outdated news...yeah, its better than nothing huh.....
