"......aiya you people cannot take joke one ahh....okay I better eat this banana, maybe good for my eye or my mouth also....."

You can't blame Herbert, to welcome home Willie, again he volunteered to throw in a joke ........." you know banana is good for the eye?.....have you ever seen a monkey wearing glasses or even contact lenses?..."......very funny Bert, Willie (wearing glasses) is not laughing!

......KRAT Pork Chop Hill...4th hole

....remember the WW II war movie Pork Chop Hill, where by the Americans GIs had to assault a hill infested with enemy machine gun posts? Well KRAT also more or less kurang lebih has almost identical hill feature at the 4th and 6th holes. Its a back-breaking climb but a good exercise for the fittest. No wonder we don't have that many guest playing here........

....at long last, Mike is back with us......

After more than 4 months missing (MIA or AWOL?), Mike is finally back with us. Welcome home Mike Mustafa, we certainly miss your sudden act of disappearing. Any how, after that long period of menghilang, Mike came in with a birdie on the 4th Hole and few pars! Wow...ini mesti ada secret training somewhere bah.....Above picture, Mike with the President, Kelvin Kong and the rest of the gang cooling down at the club house.

....thank goodness.......

......no, Bert was not watering the tree as he used to do in Korea.... actually he was merely whispering to the tree ....."...aye, can you move a little bit?....my shot banyak susah ahh..."

......OMG.....Bert, not the tree bro......

.......mama mia, Bert are you watering the tree man?.....ayo, malu ahh....

Herbert teeing off into the sunlight

One of the reasons why we must tee-off at 7 in the morning.....tee-off later than that, well this what will happen......glaring into the morning brightly lit sunlight......here Gary keeping close watch of Herbert's tee-off at the 3rd Tee Box.....

One of the southern most end of the island, Point aux Roches...in the far far distance lies the Antartic....vast open sea...no wonder the beaches are clean and the water clear.
Time to depart, Mr Ismael and wife turned up to bid safe journey home to me and my team. Ismael and family too kept us on our toes by taking us out for a dip in the beautiful blue sea plus the unforgettable Chinese dinner.....merci.

Another of my good friend in Mauritius, Faize enjoying the cool breeze at one of the waterfalls inland. Faize enjoys football and proud to be one of the top scorer on the island.

One of the many family outings, me and Nasa plus Sanjay and the rest of the Mauritius gang enjoying a whole day picnic during the weekend.

On my last day in Mauritius, sending me off my good friend Sanjay and his charming wife Jaya. Both of them simply lovely couple that kept you fully occupied be it in the week days or weekends....took me all over the island....bless them.

Yes, I was fortunate to be in Mauritius twice this year. No, it was not off to play golf or other leisure activity but solely business. Still, it was a good trip, both for business, making more friends and places to visit....The island is bigger than Singapore, approx 100 km north to south and 60 km east to west. Main course of living on this island is sugar cane plantation-found all over the island, followed by tourism...thats where I came in. The locals speak French, Creole and English. So, communication no prob at all. The people are simply lovely and friendly.

.....the house I was born, Jln Hj Busu, Kuala Terngganu, located at Batu Buruk.
....the long white sandy beach, Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu running miles down south

As the sun glows slowly starts thinning setting in the east, the cool lovely evening breeze coming in from the sea, adding more to the enchanting atmosphere of the surrounding beauty of Kuala Terengganu.
Late afternoon Kuala Terngganu view from the sea front.
As noted, nothing much had appeared in the S2U blog, since the last golf outing in Cameron Highlands Nov last year. Not that the members been keeping solely to themselves but it seems more of each individual been busy to own commitments be it in country or overseas. Nonetheless, the regular routine of Tue and Thurs morning golfing at KRAT went on without fail, be it with the turnout of a strength of two flights or even a single flight.

At the same time, its good to see and to have back with us after a long period of absence, our great Willy Wan Idris from the East Coast, Kelantan. The good and funny thing, he seems to be playing better golf after that long lull period.....secret training in KB or Golok?......you never know.

As for me, yes, I'd certainly been running round abit apart from my normal BDN (busy doing nothing). I was away in Europe (London and Paris) and Mauritius (twice) and locally around the east coast and Penang. I'd enclosed herewith some shots taken during those outings. Hope you guys too could come forward with your own write-up and picturestaken to be shared among us all.

Herbert waiting to be baptized....

On a good day of golf, we do seem to have 3 flights among the Sikit2Untong members. This is something positive and much encouragement memberi semangat baru for the sort of declining stage of S2U. These days we tend to see old but hey new faces between us! Yeah, we do have Douglas Lim and and a retired Colonel, Herbert Beltran cum preacher.....blimey.....are we gonna have a Tuan Guru next?.....well......you never know.....Malaysia Boleh!
