THE S2U HARI RAYA 2008 DINNER

For the year 2008, it was decided to have a change of venue in celebrating the Hari Raya Idilfitri. The four S2U Muslims members comprising of Mike Mustafa, Willie Wan, Allen Adnan and Andy Kamal, picked Quality Hotel in Jalan Raja Laut, KL in hosting and inviting the rest of the S2U members and wives to dinner.

It was a sheer coincident in picking the Hotel. Apparently the Hotel was formally the former Holiday Inn and Kelvin Kong was the one behind its construction then. It certainly brings back fond memories for Kelvin.

So, that evening dressed in our traditional S2U jackets and the ladies in their evening dress, the gallant members of S2U swayed their way through the maddening evening traffic plus the non-stop down-pour as to regroup at our rendezvous-The Benteng, Quality Hotel.

Come what may, we were well entertained to a deserving BBQ dinner accompanied by the in-house musicians and the sudden appearance of uninvited singers from the S2U that somehow or rather managed to put-up a brave show!

We sincerely do hope everyone had a good time and we do look forward for more memorable evenings in the future.

To round the lovely and memorable evening, it was the cake-cutting for two of our S2U members-Mike Mustafa ....turning 22 and Andy Kamal .... turning 27....that's what they claimed to the lady in red-Mac (singing in the rear).

Accompanied by the Gold Dust and the members of S2U plus the enchanting wives its the ...happy birthday to you....God bless and many more wonderful years to come....insyAllah

WHEN CHARLIE IS NOT GOLFING....

There you are.....caught on camera too...when he is not firing away golf balls on the course, you'll tend to find Charlie happily enjoying his mee rebus....to him there's nothing more better than a delicious mee rebus panas! No wonder he's so serious when it comes to return matches between Kelvin and the rest of the gang.

WOW....NINE HOLES ALSO NO JOKE AH....

Caught on camera.....Gary having a lonnngg cool drink and almost in the boot of his car .....poor sole....this was taken after one of his round of NINE holes. It really showed how serious Gary was in his game when ever he accepted challenges from the Mee Rebus Gang!

THE HARI RAYA GET-TOGETHER GONE BANANAS?.....

.....now, now wait a minute....no wonder over the news, it was mentioned that the monkeys in Zoo Hulu Klang are on hunger strike!.....for the past one month, the monkeys are short of bananas....it seems their storage of bananas being hijacked by........

THE 2008 HARI RAYA GET TOGETHER.....

After a good round of golf, especially for those that lay-off for more than a month during the fasting month of Ramadhan, it was followed with a quick shower and a making a bee-line to the secluded corner in the club house for a real get-together - the Sikit2 Untong style.

As shown above, led by our energetic President Kelvin Kong, the strong members of S2U, with one spirit in mind and soul, of understanding and caring simply for the sake of togetherness for the betterment of us mankind, to ever strive forward, beyond the hills yonder....
