The idea on the formation of the SIKIT2 UNTONG members was mooted almost a year ago on 12 April 2007 by Mike Mustafa and Charlie Cheong. The whole idea was simply to rope-in senior retirees as to keep them healthy not only in health but also in mind in particular through weekly active golfing without fail. As for the name of SIKIT2UNTONG this derived from Kelvin Kong and as for the spelling of UNTONG with an 'O' as to replace of the original "U' with a golf ball, this came from our creative Steve Tan.
To start with, the weekly outings were centralised more towards the gruelling hacking and puffing at the well and popularly known 'obstacle' golf course of the Kelab Golf Angkatan Tentera (KGAT) due to its either up-hill or down-hill fair-ways. Nonetheless, maybe not many are aware that this particular interesting and beautiful course (KGAT) is one of the oldest golf course smack right in the centre of the ever busy Capital City, Kuala Lumpur.
As for its members today, currently Sikit2 Untong is magnified with the magnificient eleven namely with the additional of Gary Chang, Charlie Cheong, Richard Rajandran, Allen Adnan and Andy Kamal.
As for its leadership, at the helm as the President, Kelvin Kong was strongly voted and followed by Gary Chang as the Chairman.
